You and Me Competition Results

As you know we organized a composition competition titled ‘You and Me’. The Polish school chose the best essay of Bayraklı High that is Barış Yetkin’s one. We think that it reflects in the best and at the same time in the simplest way the idea of our project.

YOU AND ME

Most of the countries have different cultures. The reason why they are different is that, culture is an inheritance for people in where they were born. But, that difference doesn’t mean people don’t have similar features.

Whatever their religion,culture,language or nationality is all the people have similarities. For example, last year I went to Estonia with our project group.There, I met lots of polite and lovely people.They all have cheerful faces and tolerance as much as Turkish people. Actually, tolerance is the most important feature for me. People must respect each other have tolerance. That makes us the same in any way.

As a result, the most important point to know and understand is that; “You are me and I am you”. That point teaches us whatever their culture is people have similar qualities and the only thing we need to understand is not just looking but seeing.
